We had such a blast producing this set of animated patterns for Volvo’s car sharing service, @movewithm. Daniel Savage (@somethingsavage) designed the patterns and animated them in collaboration with the wonderful @angelastempel. Cheers to the team over at @acnecollective for the creative direction! #pattern #illustration #animation #agentpekka #somethingsavage

Rune Fisker, The Blue City : When Copenhagen artist Rune Fisker was going back through his archive of sketches, he came across a rough drawing and decided to develop it further. The sketch was one he had made quite casually in order to capture the movement of a group of people. ⠀ ⠀ “I started working on a more detailed sketch that defined the movement and details of the illustration more,” Rune explained. “When I work on my own drawings I like to keep the sketch fairly loose, so I can add elements and details when I do the line work. That way I can keep an element of spontaneity to the process.”⠀ ⠀ Rune did the line work and colouring in Artstudio Pro, which he uses on both his iPad and his Mac computer. “For the commercial work I do at the moment I’m using a lot of colours,” Rune says. “So for this this one I wanted to keep the colour palette very simple, a combination of pink and purples with a dark blue to create some contrast.” #runefisker #agentpekka #process #sketch #illustration #timelapse
