“A wonderful collision of lines and textural spray-like colour.”
— It's Nice That
As a teenager in Poland, illustrator Justyna Stasik avoided doing her homework in favour of making collages and doodling. She continued doing so through her early 20s until she realised she could turn it into a full time job, which she did. Now, in her home of Montreal, Justyna spends her days creating work for the likes of Apple, The New York Times and Adobe among others. She loves projects revolving around lifestyle and fashion, a good commercial or even tech gigs with open-minded and creative art direction are always welcomed too. Her work is filled with approachable and relatable characters, lively patterns and bold colours. It is often described as fun, expressive and simplistic. All of the above happens to be Justyna’s main goal: to inject her work with humour and break down the ideas to its simplest and most expressive form.
