Johanne Licard is an illustrator based in Nantes with a background in film—a foundation that continues to inform her work. Her images are cinematic in feel, often capturing quiet, suspended moments where time seems to pause. Her work is warm, tactile and atmospheric. Inspired by nature, the human form and a sense of intimacy, Johanne often draws from the visual language of the 1960s and ’70s to create illustrations that feel both timeless and evocative. She works across editorial, publishing, and advertising, bringing depth and sensitivity to each project.
