Based in Lisbon, French illustrator Maxime Mouysset blends bold graphic design and comic-inspired storytelling into narrative-rich illustrations. He studied at the École des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg and worked in advertising before shifting his focus to illustration.
Thick black lines, minimal colour palettes, and a cinematic sense of motion and light define his work. Drawing from film, architecture, and everyday scenes, he creates images that are both simple and expressive. His subjects range from sports and food to urban life and social commentary.
