Merijn Hos is a visual artist living and working in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Although he creates joyful, quirky illustrative work for unlikely clients such as Bose, Red Bull, Google, The Guardian and Keds among others, Merijn is also renowned for his beautiful wooden sculptures and innimitable animations which he creates with his brother and longtime creative partner, Jurriaan. His curious, optimistic characters and passion for mixed-media are a testament to Merijn’s ability to make every brief as important as the last, and treat every commission with the same respect and attention as he gives his personal work. “I’m interested in every type of commission to be honest, but I like advertisement and music the most. My dream is to make a real hot air balloon.”
