Inspired by the beauty of nature and its creation of the female form, Pietari Posti’s work celebrates the beauty of the world by simplifying it down to clean lines and crisp, bold shapes. His experience in graphic design from studying the subject in Lahti, Finland, is evident in his illustrative compositions. Small editorial works are arranged with the eye of a designer, and typography plays a large part in the posters, book covers and identities he is commissioned to create. What Pietari’s work has is a sense of tradition seeped into a modern aesthetic, something that countless brands are looking to have a piece of in terms of heritage and timelessness. Pietari now operates Studio Posti from Barcelona, churning out work for magazines and brands worldwide and featuring in a number of illustration and design books.
