“I don't think we can talk about neon without looking at some of Rizon Parein's work.”
— The Fox Is Black
Rizon Parein shot into view in 2011 when his neon sign poster for the film Drive captured the world’s attention. A digital image-maker at heart, Rizon quit school at 17 and taught himself the technology and artistic craftsmanship he needed to carve himself a career in the art and design world. He now makes “digital images from objects with a strong graphical and architectural input, all built in a 3D space,” from his studio in Antwerp. What sets Rizon apart from other set designers and image makers is his fearless ability to work with almost any material for any brand, all of it excellently polished and executed.
